I was born to Roy & Zella Carmack, one of eleven children. It was a joy to be raised in a large family. Dad and Mom both worked; however, Dad would leave farming long enough to drop me and my sisters, Debbie and Teresa off at church. As a teenager, I was saved and baptized at Bro. McClintock's church in Sikeston, MO. I married Ron McAtee on February 28, 1970. God blessed us with a son on June 15, 1971, Ronnie Lee. I really felt that we should have some daughters so badly that I would watch the roadside as we drove by to see if God was going to leave us one there. In 1992, my baby sister Teresa was killed and left two daughters behind. We were able to take these two little girls to raise, Stacey was thirteen years old and Kristin was five years old. Only God could make something so beautiful out of something so tragic! God completed our family on May 20, 1995 when the adoption became final! Our family now consisted of our son & two daughters. We want to thank God for our family! When our son Ronnie was a sophomore, he started playing bass guitar and Ron took rhythm guitar. Then in the summer of 1987, Ronnie decided he wanted to play lead guitar. Ron told him they needed a bass guitar player, so Ronnie volunteered me!!! Now that would be a miracle for sure…..no one in my entire family could play any instrument. God came on the scene. Ron would work with me during the day, then Ronnie would come home from night shift at Briggs and Stratton and he would wake me up and work with me. They were determined that I would play bass! On Mother's Day 1989, I played bass for the first time in public. Wow! God is awesome! My Bio would not be complete without telling you about my two Beautiful Granddaughters, Natalie Nichole eight years old and Ava Reese, one year old. Life is so precious and we want to share with the world that God is the TOTAL solution for all of your needs! We thank God for giving us the opportunity to do just that through our music.

May God bless you all,

Sharon McAtee
